Agelink Theatre was established in response to a perceived need amongst the senior community to have their stories recognised and validated and have their experiences passed on to younger generations. Recording oral histories and reflecting them back to the community, in this instance by the immediacy of the medium of theatre, promotes well being among the contributors and understanding between generations and promotes positive aging.

Many Agelink productions are designed to appeal across generations and others have particular reference to seniors and seniors’ issues. All the productions are based on real stories and real human experiences, recreating history and celebrating the human spirit.

Agelink’s motto is “memories nourish the soul.”
